Isotopes Canada is a privately owned and operated Canadian company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We have been working with exploration and production companies (big and small) since 1979. We are a specialized and indepedent service company focused in the area of inter-well tracing, mud labeling and all corresponding laboratory services.

Inter-well Tracers help determine from point of injection to collection where water, gas or solvents are moving, communication time and what anomalies may be present. With information gathered from inter-well tracer programs sweep efficiencies can be determined and improved, infield drilling positions can be re-assessed and by-passed hydrocarbons can be identified.

Mud Labeling (Core Tracing) is used to obtain accurate determination of in-situ water levels by measuring the degree of coring fluid invasion. The drilling fluid is "doped" with tracer and its concentration is measured in the mud and core to determine the degree of flushing during coring.
