Isotopes Canada is licensed and regulated by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC). The CNSC regulates the use of nuclear energy and materials to protect health, safety, security and the environment; to implement Canada’s international commitments on the peaceful use of nuclear energy; and to disseminate objective scientific, technical and regulatory information to the public.

 

The company implements strict Health, Safety and Environment policies/standards of which the CNSC governs Isotopes Canada and our license. The CNSC is a federal agency responsible for protecting the environment by monitoring, inspecting and auditing all licensed activities within Canada. In order to maintain our licence, Isotopes Canada has continued to meet all of the CNSC’s stringent guidelines with an unblemished safety record since inception.

 

When working in the field, Isotopes Canada maintains the standards and policies set by our customers related to Safety, Health & Environmental. All Isotopes Canada field personnel are TDG, WHMIS, First Aid, CSO and H2S Alive certified.
