With a 25-year career in mining, oil and gas, and consulting, focusing on water resources, environmental stewardship, and regulatory applications, Mike is a project leadership professional that excels at collaborating with multidisciplinary cross-functional specialists. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Waterloo in Earth Sciences and has recently completed his Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
Mike has the ability to connect with diverse cultures and points of view, understand differences in communication styles, and find common bonds having worked throughout Canada, the United States, South America, and China.
He has a passion of tackling the unimaginable, pushing boundaries, and going beyond expectations, having competed in 5 Ironman triathlons, over 40 long distance triathlons, and cycled the French Alps and Italian Dolomites.
